엄마 코끼리
Mother elephant
우리는 모두 다르지만
많은 같은 것들을 가지고 있다.
그 중 하나가 사랑이다.
We’re all different, but we have many things in common. And one of those is love.
2015년 겨울, 아빠와 동생 우태와 함께 태국에 갔다.
코끼리와 함께 보냈던 하루를 평생 잊을 수 없을 것 같다.
우리가 찾아갔던 곳은 코끼리들이
행복하게 지내는 곳이었지만,
태국의 많은 코끼리가 학대받고 힘들게 살아가고 있다.
코끼리뿐 아니라 모든 동물들이
다 같이 함께 행복하게 살 수 있으면 좋겠다.
2015 winter, I went to Thailand with Dad and my younger brother Wootae. I think I’ll always remember the day we spent with the elephants. In the place we visited, the elephants are happy, but many elephants in Thailand suffer terrible abuse. I wish not just elephants, but all animals, could live together in happiness.
